JOAD 2010
This past summer of 2010, two sessions of youth classes
were held at the Archery Club. Each session was 5 weeks long and ran
for an hour or an hour and a half. Students in the beginning class
learned basic shooting form, equipment care, range safety and
etiquette. Intermediate students had already participated in the
National Archery in the Schools Program at least one year and spent
their 5 weeks improving their shooting form and practice habits. The
instructor was Arne Moe, Community Coach.
JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) classes started on
November 3rd and will continue on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8
until March. A Monday evening beginning archery class will start on
January 10,2011. This class will also be from 6:30 to 8 pm.
